# Many Models, Many Styles **Track:** Imaging — beginner / high school — Digital & Generative Imaging — proposed **Framework / surface:** ij8 Studio (model pool) **Level:** Beginner **Prerequisites:** The Anatomy of a Prompt **In one line:** Compare model "personalities"; pick the right one for a goal. ## Theory, aesthetics & inspiration No two generative models see the world the same way. Each is trained on a different collection of images with a different architecture, so each carries inherited tendencies — one leans painterly, another photographic, a third toward crisp illustration — much as film stocks and printmaking processes each impose a signature before a single choice is made. These defaults are not neutral; they reflect what a model was shown and how often, the statistics of its diet. Learning a model's "personality" means running one prompt across several and noticing where each pulls, then choosing deliberately — the way a printmaker selects etching over lithography for the marks the medium naturally wants to make.
